I should have checked ripoffreport before I ordered these magazines. I could have saved myself $89.
On Oct. 7 a boy who called himself Pat Riomes came to my sisters house when I was there. He gave me the sob story about how he was earning points for a trip to Cancun by selling magazines. He, of course, was very sweet and attempted to flatter me with compliments. I had been planning on ordering my 13-year-old niece Cosmo Girl magazine, anyway, so I ordered it. I also ordered Disney Princess for my 4-year-old niece.
The total came up to $79.00, plus there was a $10.00 processing charge! $89.00 for 2 magazines! As soon as he left, I realized that it was WAY too much so I wrote a letter to cancel. On the back of the reciept, it says that you have 3 days to cancel. It says to give them 10 business days to get the refund to you.
Well, it's been way more than 10 days and I have yet to get my refund. I have called the number on the reciept (940) 565-1000 at least 6 times in the past 6 days and, of course, it is an automated message where you can leave a voicemail (that no one will ever answer). Luckily, he used my cell phone to call in my account information, so I have that number.
I also have the number of his sponsor, who I just left a message for.
I am going to call my bank and see if I can file a fraud charge against this company. I am also going to file a report with the TX attorney general, as well as the BBB.
I wish I knew what we would all have to do to file a lawsuit against this company. They should not be allowed to continue doing this to innocent people who are just trying to help these scam-artist kids.

I am too from indianapolis and I also got ripped off . After a long day on the phone I finally got ahold of a girl named Kelly you need your recipt # and the total amount you spent. 940-565-1000 or 940-484-4201 she says she will mail me my money in one week! I SURE HOPE SO!! GOOD LUCK 2 U!!!!!!!

After calling these people everyday for 3 weeks, I got ahold of them on Friday. I was told they would call me back. Never heard from them Friday or today. I plan on calling tomorrow AGAIN. Everyone who has a complaint about this "company" needs to contact the Texas Attorney General's office and file a complaint. You can do so online. If the Atty Gen continues to get complaints about this crap, they will be forced to do something to put a stop to their scamming of innocent people.

I tried that phone number and it is a personal residence. Today I finally got ahold of someone at their office (yes, I was in shock!). I told them who I was and they immediately put me on hold. After 20 minutes I was told that the manager, Keitha, would have to help me and that she would call me back. I'm holding my breath! I've filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General, like several others. Why have they not done anything about this company yet? After all the complaints, you would think this company would be shut down by now. Why aren't Keitha, Canda, Mary and rest sitting in a jail cell right now?? I will make myself a pain in their butts leaving message after message and sending email after email until they give me my money back. I am NOT going to let them get away with this.
