Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I went to a Government Grants Conference at the end of November, and following the conference, an Epenzio representative gave his little speech. I was one of the stupid ones who signed up for it. They didn't explain anything, except: "You'll receive a packet in the mail, then you'll be assigned a personal representative to help you."

First thing, I never received anything in the mail, and NO ONE has ever contacted me, until I put a stop payment on my bank account, so they couldn't take any more of my money. Now they call everyday, but only to say: Epenzio has nothing to do with the Website. If you don't have a website, and nothing to sell, why in the hell would I need a merchant account????

I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, and I'm disputing the negative report on my Credit Bureau with the 3 leading credit reporting agencies. On top of all of this, I have my original paperwork, and it's all blank. They push you through, like a number, and you go out on blind faith.

No more. I am going to do my best to stop this from happening to anyone else. I am an advocate for "the right thing", and this is so not the right thing. I have a good credit rating, and I'll be damned if I'm going to let Epenzio screw it up.

JUST AS IMPORTANT TO POST ON RIP-OFF REPORT & MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE BBB

#20

Sat, November 02, 2002

Listing your complaint on many Government links sometimes are no better than the BBB and are most likely just a waste of time, giving you false hope. Many government sites (like the BBB) just collect all information from you, the consumer, but never make that information available for all to see, so consumers will NOT be educated as to what exactly they should be looking out for. By these agencies not letting you see these complaints, making them public, you never know how bad the company or individual rip-off really is.

On the other hand, many government agencies have and do come to the Rip-off Report for information. We have been assisting many government agencies for some time now, including the FBI and Attorney General offices from around the country..

Now that all these Rip-off Reports are out in the open for everyone to see, in a way, this embarrasses these agencies into doing something when they see so many reports on a Company or Individual, because they are now out in the open for all to see. Unfortunately, many (not all) Attorney General Office's and government agencies will not move against a rip-off unless you are well connected, or there is going to be some sort of publicity on the rip-off. By reporting your experience on the Rip-off Report, is the next best thing to getting your story on TV or in a newspaper. Most national TV networks and many local TV stations from all around the country also come to the Rip-off Report for information they will not get from the BBB, Attorney General office's or any other government agency.

Rip-off Report has instigated many local and national stories, resulting in help for victims' world wide, in one way or another. Most government agencies will never even bother with rip-offs unless it involves $50,000 or more. Now that government is cutting back even more dollars for these types of programs, this number will even get higher and we can expect even less to get done, by even less people to work on all these rip-offs.

Additionally, by filing a Rip-off Report, you might be contacted by us notifying you to contact a law firm that has shown interested in your case.

The facts about Stacy's contracts

I am sorry that Stacy feels that there is a problem with the Website package that she purchased from Bring it Home or the Internet Payment Gateway that she purchased from ePenzio that would have caused her to have to seek a remedy by this means. I have read Stacy's complaint, reviewed all of the contracts that Stacy signed, reviewed all of the notes in the Bring it Home database and the ePenzio database concerning Stacy's accounts, and I found the following:

1. Stacy purchased her Website and applied for the financing package for her PenzPay Internet Payment Gateway at a seminar sponsored by National Grants Conferences (NGC) on November 26, 2001. The contracts that Stacy signed on November 26, 2001 required Stacy to sign in 8 different places. Stacy was given copies of all of the contracts that she signed.

2. The Website and Internet Payment Gateway services are offered by Bring it Home and ePenzio at the National Grants Conferences at the request of NGC.

3. Stacy had until November 29, 2001 at midnight to cancel her applications and eliminate all of her obligations concerning these contracts. Neither Bring it Home nor ePenzio received a cancellation notice from Stacy during this time.

4. Stacy received the Website that he purchased at the time of purchase.

5. On December 5, 2001, ePenzio sent Stacy an email from welcoming her and giving her information about ePenzio's Affiliate program.

6. The package that contained the Login ID# and Password for Stacy's PenzPay Virtual terminal transaction system was delivered to Stacy by FedEx on
December 13, 2001.

7. On April 30, 2002, Stacy contacted ePenzio concerning changing the day of the draft for her monthly loan payment. She was referred to Fair Financial.

8. The only call that Bring it Home received from Stacy was on October 24, 2002. The purpose of this call was to inquire about the possibility of canceling her account.

9. It does not appear that Stacy EVER called Bring it Home requesting help in designing her Website.

Based on this information, I see no reason why ePenzio should be compelled to cancel the financing package for Stacy. I feel that Bring it Home and ePenzio have lived up to all of the terms of the contracts that Stacy signed on November 26, 2001. Bring it Home stands ready, willing and able to assist Stacy with her Website design at any time. ePenzio has delivered to Stacy exactly what she contracted for. It appears to me that Stacy has made no effort to make the products that she purchased work.

Fortunately, if Stacy has determined that she no longer wishes to develop her Website and use her Internet Payment Gateway, there are several things that Stacy can do to lessen or eliminate her costs. She can call Bridgeview at 1-877-877-8164 and cancel the monthly service for her Merchant Account and call ePenzio at 1-800-494-1563 and cancel her gateway access to her PenzPay Internet Payment Gateway. She may also call Pacific WebWorks at 801-578-9020 and cancel the monthly hosting fee for her Website. This will eliminate all of her monthly costs except for her financing package payment for her PenzPay transaction system. I do however, have a system in place to help Stacy sell her PenzPay transaction system and thereby eliminate her monthly financing package payment. This actually costs me quite a bit of money, but I am willing to do this because I really do not want to have anyone stuck with equipment that they are not using. Stacy needs to be pro-active and find one or more companies that need an Internet based PenzPay transaction system and then send ePenzio these qualified leads. Please have Stacy send these referrals to my personal attention so I can make sure they get handled properly. My email is [email protected] and my fax is (801) 365-1010, attention Brad Crawford. I will have our salespeople call Ms. Reese's referrals and try to close the sale for him. If they are successful, it will be necessary that Stacy pay a $50 transfer fee, but I will pay all of the other sales costs associated with this transfer.

Sincerely,

CEO, ePenzio Inc.
