EProfits - IRCALLIANCE Ripoff Fraudulent Billing On Credit Card I canceled web-hosting service during the free trial period, they kept billing my credit card & wouldn't return charges Salt Lake City Utah
eProfits made simple. (An eProfits, Inc. program) I attended their workshop at a local hotel to learn about selling on ebay. The first session was free and the advanced workshop was $97.00 to attend. I used my credit card to pay and signed a contract for 30 day free web-site hosting. At the time I told them I didn't want web-hosting. I was told to sign it & it would be easy to cancel after I attended the workshop, should still not want it. I did cancel their web-hosting services during my trial period according the rules of their contract by sending them a written letter. eProfits billed my credit card $29.98 ea. for 2 months hosting service under the eProfits name, then they switched names to IRCALLIANCE for another two months at $29.98 ea.
I tried to get them to return my money by calling them & faxing them, but they wouldn't. It took me complaining to them & my credit card company 6 months. I was able to get one month returned by my card company, but the other three months they couldn't refund because of the time limit.
Concerning their workshops they tell you nothing and try to sell information on wholesellers, software, credit card services, web-hosting. They give you a ticket for a free camera for attending their workshop, but you pay a $15.00 handling charge to mail in the offer for a junk camera. I have recently seen a local newspaper ad announing that they will be back in our area giving free workshops this month. Sure would be nice to shut them down. They are a total a scam coming to your area soon...
