Ergonocon Corp ripoff Ann Arbor Michigan
BEWARE! This is a scam company that has double charged my credit card for a purchase I made from them 2 years ago in Dec of 2002 in the amount of $820.00 for a laptop computer.
Then in May of 2004 I noticed a charge on my credit card from this company for $774.00. I inquired to my credit card company and disputed the charge.
The following month I recieved documents from my credit card company that included photocopies of Ergonocon receipts defending their $774 charge to me for a laptop computer. The SAME laptop computer!
What these losers did was use my initial credit card purchase receipt & sales contract from Dec of 2002 and transpose the date and total showing I indeed did purchase a laptop from them in May of 2004, this past summer. Of course my signature was transposed as well and I am now in heated talks with my credit card company about these fraudulent charges.
On the date in question I wasn't even in town and I have a solid alibi. This is b.s. These clowns from Ergonocon will not return my emails and will not return my phone calls much less even answer their phone. It goes directly into voice mail.
They've tried to screw the wrong guy. I will do whatever is within my means to shut these guys down. They are scammers and they will pay dearly for all the hassle I've had to deal with trying to get this mess straightened out with my credit card company.
I have disputed the charges 3x now and they continue to send my credit card co. photocopies of false receipts justifying their charges. So my credit card co. reverses the charges and I have to re-dispute again. And round and round it goes.
I have also reported Ergonocon Corp to the Michigan Attorney General office for their fraudulent business dealings. My only hope is that the investigation process won't be tangled in red tape for 6+ months from now.
Kudos to RipOffReport.com for giving those of us who have been ripped off a forum to publicize the scammers and hope nobody else falls victim to these rip off scumbags.
