Eric And Carolynn Gockel Secret Shopper enclosed is a check for $3,200.00 to be deposited and them a money gram for $2,840.00 this letter came with a check enclosed for 0 ripoff Englewood Colorado
A letter came with a check enclosed for $3,200.00 made payable to me. They claim to be the Secret Shoppers employers. They want you to cash the check then the assignment is to go to Walmart and send a Money Gram" for $2,840.00. they want me to call there office 1-416-553-3292 and provide them with the MoneyGram reference code immediately after completion.
Nothing rang true to me about this, because number 1 . I did not apply for a job with secrect shopper, and 2 why would they send me a check and they do not know me.

This scam did not originate from us. One of our checks was copied or stolen and was used for this scheme (as well as the "Irish Lottery" last month) Our bank has closed the checking account and cannot do anything else about this scam because the scammers reside in Canada and have been told to work with the US Postal Inspector to hopefully catch them.
