It started when I received a phone call stating that I had a been approved for a loan. I went to Esco motors and sat there for a whole day and I did walk away with a truck.

1 week later, I brought the truck back. Bob and Andrew were very rude and disrespectful to me and they even called my house and were rude to my family. I brought the truck back be cause I contacted the company that supposedly financed me for the truck and came to learn that they never received a payment nor did they have my name in their system.

When I was at the dealership, they continued to tell me that they submitted my paperwork, I was on the phone with a mamanger from Exeter who stated out loud that they never sent in my paperwork. I had given them $500 down payment, that was supposed to be sent to the finance company. It never was. They put that money in their pockets. I am entitled to that money back. They refuse to give it back to me. Rumor has it that they have pulled this stunt before.

They are mad because I figured there scam out. I reported it to my bank as well. I would never recommend going there or dealing with anyone that works there. They are rude and run scams out of a hole in the wall.

Dear Consumers: In response to the ripoff report #337193; Missy from Jersey City did indeed purchase a truck from Esco, as stated. We tried contacting Missy for a week and a half regarding auto insurance. She was unable to obtain insurance (Which is ILLEGAL) due to a suspended license, which was withheld from us by HER. Due to her negligence and dishonesty, we were forced to pay insurance for her TWICE. We DID NOT find out about her suspension until she was unable to obtain insurance. Therefore, the bank could not provide her with the loan and we had no choice but to ask for our vehicle to be returned. The staff at Esco Motor Cars was professional and courteous. As for scams and money pocketing, Missy had a vehicle in her possession for a WEEK AND A HALF which put wear and tear on the vehicle! When the truck was returned it had scratches, marks, dents and added mileage that were not there when sold to her. Who was scammed and out of money? We feel that it is unfair that such a claim is being made about our company without disclosing the entire story. Our dealership is not in the business of taking cars back! This whole situation was a direct result of her dishonesty not ours.
