ESCO MOTORS - LENDING SOURCE SCAM -- STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS AS YOU CAN LODI New Jersey
Unfortunately, I didnt see this rip-off site before I was scammed out of my hard-earned $1,000. I was on the market for a car and I found this site (for bad credit customers) that refers you to the lenders. I was refered to Lending Source who called me and asked me to come in and complete the application. Before I went there I had been told that I would get the funds and be able to purchase my vehicle elsewhere (LIES, LIES, LIES.) I happened to have a vehicle from my neighborhood Star Toyota that I was eyeing I paid my money down and was then surprised when I was led outside to their lot to select the vehicle. I explained to the salesperson, Steve, that I wasn't going to get my car from their lot and that I just wanted the check (or however way they transfer the funds to me or my seller) At that point I was told they dont actually give you the money, and that you have to purchase from their lot!!! The vehicle they tried to get me into was a 2005 Equinox, 54k miles for $19k - not told or upfront about the interest rate, so a lot of people will not know what they are getting into
Getting my refund was then a nightmare and has been for 2 months!! Should have involved the POLICE on that day and at that point. Too many lies and promises -
1. didnt have my credit card on file in order to process the refund. I gave them right away
2. only the owner has the passcode for the credit card machine refunds and he's not in all the time - you will never catch him
3. it was processed and I should check with my bank
4. they sent me a check
5. check status with Jimmy, the Manager. He'll explain why we have not been able to refund you....It's been 2 months now.
ENDLESS LIES AND DEFINITELY SCAMMERS, VULTURES AND WILL DEVOUR FROM WHOEVER AND HOWEVER. EVERY ONE STAY AWAY
