Terrible and misleading customer service policy. I bought a Residential Irrigation pump from Essential Hardware. When the pump did not meet the performance and product performance spec's that were publicized, I called for a Return Authorization.
At the same time, I purchased ANOTHER, LARGER, MORE EXPENSIVE model. I was given an RMA # for the return, and advised that I would be responsible for the return freight, (understandable), and I would get a full refund once my return was received within the 30 day written policy.
I just received notification that my return was received.....and......I was charged a 15% restocking fee!
Not the type of customer service that one should expect.
Will not buy from Essential Hardware again.
Suggest that others consider this before buying from them.
