Jan 17, 2006 Purchased a bread machine from evansville group.com via eBay. Item was Breadman Ultimate Bread Machine, Model: TR2200WWC, brushed chrome finish - "may have small dents and scratches" made by Salton

Jan 20 received shipment

Jan 20 e-mail to vendor with picture that it shipped a Williams Sonoma, model WS0401, color white; another picture showed a large self-adhering label "Reason for return - leaking". (That means a prior customer received credit for a machine that couldn't make bread.) In short, I had received the wrong make, model and color of an item that Evansville Group.com knew could not make bread. They knew because they placed the item inside a box with a different model number (picture of that also sent to Evansvillegroup.com.)

Jan 21 e-mail from vendor that item would be replaced

Jan 23 received FedEx shipping label

Jan 24 delivered wrapped machine to FedEx office

Feb 2 received correct model in brushed chrome with promised small dents; washed bread pan and added ingredients.

Feb 2 e-mail to vendor with pictures of water and ingredients leaking from base; requested another shipping label and a bread machine that worked.

Feb 4 sent e-mail again requesting shipping label to effect exchange (their advertised remedial policy).

Feb 7 sent another e-mail requesting shipping label to effect exchange and that dripping water on hot coils could create fire/shock hazard.

Feb 8 sent another e-mail indicating I would start charging for warehousing their inventory.

The Feb 2 was not responded to; the Feb 7 and 8 e-mails were blocked.

It is unconscionable that a company would play musical garbage; who ever is holding the trash when the exchanges stop, gets to be the sucker. In other words these trash purveyors get a thrill from passing the trash rather than disposing of it. Guess tipple fees are high in Indiana; cheaper to FedEx trash outside the state.
