I attended everest University from January 2011 until October 2011, and during that time it was a very loose school where it was more about the money than the student. I transfered to Kaplan In November, 2011, just before they changed from a dollar amount per credit hour to a flat rate fee of $ 4000 no matter if you took 1 class or 30. I just finish my B/S in Paralegal from Kaplan and have chosen to go to Graduate Student and as I was applying for various school I found out through George Washington University that they would not accept any credits earned from Everest although it was only 20 credits that is still a lot to lose because a school is not up front with you as is the case with Everest. If I had known that they are not regional or nationally acredited I would not have attended, but since that ime they have been hounding me about coming to Everest to attend Graduate School and the first thought in my head was that they was making this bull--it up or thought that I was crazy. I decided to try for admission at Champlain College and need to have my transcript mail to them and it is like pulling teeth from a frog. It is one lie after another lie, first I am told that they will have a representative to call me and provide all of the information needed and then next they will mail me atranscript request form. The only problem with that is I had to request a transcript when I transfered to Kaplan and it was email to me and I downloaded it and email it back, so I go to the Corinthian College website and it has a downloadable form and actually tells you that you can fax the document to the University. The only problem with that is the faxes numbers that I tried failed, so I faxed a complaint to CCI, along with  my request form and have not heard anything from them either. My next move will be to contact the California Attorney General fraud department, the Florida Attorney General fraud department, the Florida department of education, Independent Education and finally the U.S. Department of Education. I am going to get my transcript and if I miss my admission date then I will look to sue CCI and Everest. Tell everyone that you know who may be thinking about going to college to stay away from CCI and Everest.
