Complaint Review: Exoticpetsplace.org - Select State/Province

If You look at there listing you can see it says it's located one place them if you look it says another place and then when you go to the website it says Houston, Texas. It's all a SCAM. I trusted the people at exoticpetsplace.org and I got ripped off $795.00. I had ordered two birds an African grey and an green wing macaw the guy I emailed and spoke to sound like they knew exactly what they where talking about so that's why I went ahead and sent the money to them. I spoke to a guy named Eaton Declair and sent the money to which was supposed to be his wife Jasmine Marks. We sent $795 through Western Union. He said the birds has been shipped and should be brought to my door by 10:00pm eastern time but after I saw that it is almost 12 and nothing happened. No birds came, no email, no phone call from the seller or airport so I decided to give the airport a call to see what is going on. After I gave them all the information that was sent via email from Eaton Declair they informed me that they do not ship bird on this flight. I immediately emailed and called Eaton to see what was going on. He informed me that there was type of confusion and the bird never got shipped and the airlines was trying to contact him but he now checked and received their message. He told me that they would hold the birds where ever they are and he would get them in the morning. The following day I heard nothing until I messaged him and then he told me the birds are stressed and they cannot be shipped right now. I said that was fine, I told him to do what is best for the birds because I want no harm to them. At this point he updated me every step of the way so I was thinking if this was a scam why would he keep in contact with me still. He already has the $795. So another day later he tells me the birds are fine but he took them to the vet and the bill was $810 and he told me I had to pay for it. I explained to him that there was no way that I was going to pay for a mistake he made and I also wanted to Know what exactly the vet did for $810 to treat stress. After he tells me that his wife made the mistake because she did the booking and he will pay half the vet bill and I have to pay the other half I told him no way and if I have to pay a dime more I want a refund. I mean I purchase these birds with a health guarantee from his site saying that if anything is wrong with the due to anything caused by the breeder they will pay for it. So I then realized why he kept in contact with me the entire time just to get me to pay a fake vet bill. After all this for days I would tell him to send me back my money and then the next day when I would ask him what is the status on my refund he would tell me he is waiting for me to send the half payment of the vet bill to ship out the birds. After days and days I finally got him to understand I am not paying anything more and that I want a refund. He told me to give him until Friday because his son is sick. I told him Ok. He said he will refund my money early morning Friday. It's late Friday and I here nothing from him so I call him and he tells me he is on his way right now I said Ok and told him to email confirmation just like I did for him he agreed and that was it. I went to bed and checked my email and phone early morning as soon as I woke up to see the conformation information but nothing was there I emailed him and got no response so I called him back only to find out that the line has been disconnected. So I still never got my money back. This guy is a scam. I took screen shots of his website just in case I would have proof of the health guarantee and everything. But when I visited his site he had pictures of a guy with a blue and gold macaw now if you check back it is not there its just has a black background. I still have the old screen shots of what might be him. I called the police and FBI and they are looking into it. This guy/girl is a SCAM. DONT BUY FROM THEM SAVE YOUESELF.
