I have been called by this agency 3 times and just got 2 notices in the mail for "a vehicle warranty about to expire." So the statement that they dont make outbound calls is false. If you ask them what vehicle they are calling about, they say they dont know and ask what vehicles you own. So, they called me about a warranty that is expiring on a vehicle but cant tell me which one and simply have no clue as to what vehicles I own. Suspicious? Me too. So I started asking the caller questions about the company and to why they are calling me about a warrenty issue on a vehicle they dont know if I have it or not. 3 calls total and I got hung up on 3 different times. This has got to be a scam!

I reveiw these reports from time to time. One thing that I keep seeing in all the reports that I read is a consumer that is venting or thinks they have done enough homework to state that the warranty is a scam or not good or the company is in the business to ripp people off. Well, being an agent for many of the warranty companies (including Warranty America LLC) and also representing several of the marketing companies that sell extended warranties, I can honestly say I have more experience in this business than any of th people reporting here. I dont want to take much time to write and write and write, as I can write a book to properly educate the consumer. Here is a brief outline: Warranty America LLC is located in Arvada, Colorado as stated. I have visited their office. I have met with their employees several times. They have a very good presence in the automotive work place. What you dont hear from a disgruntled consumer is about all the millions of dollars of claims paid out. See, it is human nature to complain when something does not go 100% your way. However, when things go great...no one really takes the time to write about it. As stated, I represent several companies on both the administrative side as well as the marketing side of this business. There are some companies that may word things on a marketing statement that you do not approve of....so throw it away. If your interested, contact them. If you have quetions, call the company. Review the contract. The majority of these companies are backed by A rated insurance carriers as well as approved by several insurance commissions in various states. You cant get that done by not paying claims and ripping everyone off. As far as the contract goes, review it. I suggest you review the one the dealer wants to sell you as well....guess what, your going to see similar guidelines in all of them. That put simply is the insurance business. Funny thing....the amount of claims paid is greater than the number of claims denied. They are not in the business to NOT pay your claim. They are in business to be sure that guidelines and maintenance has been done and this is not a fraudlulent claim. So the next time you get something in the mail and have all this extra energy to write a report or reserach it...finish the job, get a contract from you dealer and review it...you might be surprised that it is the same company that writes the warranty. Also...dont be stupid....the dealer is not going to have anything nice to say about the warranty company...he is in business to sell you one of his warranties....ask him how how much he marks the warranty up. Alot of these marketing companies sell for less than the dealer retail price. Next time keep in mind the contracts have to be written legally to comply with insurance and state guidelines. No one is in business to ripp you off. Contrary to your small amount of research...all the warranty contracts are similar in terms and conditions. Also....the only people I see writing anything is he few that have ha a bad experience for one reason or another. I have worked with Warranty America for about 5 years....its a good company with a good product. John
