EZ Source Leasing, Inc. was hired to sell my 2002 Ford Explorer. My account rep was Anthony Manfredonia and Anthony Lopez (owner). They had the car for 4 months. After that period of time, I asked for the car to be returned to me because they were unable to sell it. However, it took 2 months before I the car was returned. Mr. Manfredonia delayed returning the vehicle by using excuses such as "it has a deposit on it" or he was in the middle of negotiations with potential buyers." However, nothing ever materialized.

Eventually the car was returned to me. I noticed that the car had 4,000 more extra miles on it, was smoked in (the car has never been smoked prior), the spare tire was missing, the cargo partition was missing, the middle compartment was missing, the key lock on the passenger side was broken or jimmied, passenger door glass and window frame was chipped and dented (appears car was broken into or was attempted), the driver side door was dented and scratched from an apparent forced entry, seats and carpets were soiled and stained by drink, food, etc. Two toll violations for $166.00 from whoever was driving the car. Mr. Manfredonia said he was going to pay for it, but did not. Overall, after the car was returned, it appears the car was never being sold, but driven for personal use.

Also, I was concerned when I received the following public report from the OC Register;

ARRESTS: Newport Boulevard, 1900 block: Arrest, Sept. 11. Anthony Manfredonia, 50, of Costa Mesa was arrested on suspicion of using another's personal identification to obtain credit. This is apparently an indication of the questionable business practice of this organization.

Update to my Complaint Against EZ Source Leasing on 9/24/2007

EZ Source Leasing settled with me for the damages that occurred to my 2002 Ford Explorer in 2007. Anthony Lopez, owner of EZ Source Leasing, personally apologized. After discussion, it was clear that Anthony Manfredonia was the sole person responsible in using and abusing my vehicle that he was entrusted to sale. This was all done without the knowledge of EZ Source Leasing and Mr. Lopez. Mr. Manfredonia is a criminal and con artist and will eventually be sent to prison for his actions. As Anthony Lopez admitted, since he was the employer at the time (Mr. Manfredonia was soon fired thereafter, furthermore, I won a court judgment against him that I am pursuing at the moment) he took the financial responsibility in correcting Mr. Manfredonia's criminal act. I have been made whole by EZ Source Leasing. However, I must warn all that Mr. Manfredonia has opened his own Leasing Company and is back in business. It goes by the name of Action Leasing. He is running the business out of his apartment. Please Be Aware!!!
