Ezlaptop.com Laptop for $5, took forever, still no laptop! Ripoff Internet
I gave them $5 for a laptop back 2 years ago with a promise of a laptop. The company went belly up but was revived a few months later, so I got back in with the new company free of charge. I have been patiently and dilligently going to the website almost every day to get my points to get my laptop, and last week I got my 210 points to get the laptop. I clicked the cash in my points button and got a tracking #. When I try to track the package, I type in my tracking # & press the track button, then nothing. It doesn't go anywhere. Just refreshes the screen. I have e-mailed them just about every day now, but still no luck. No responses, nothing. I can't find any other contact info but a online e-mail form. If I hear anything from them soon (hopefully) I'll update this post, but for now, don't waste your time.

If you hide a crook and you know they are a crook your just as guilty in the eyes of the law! Who is protecting them? EZlaptop.com is using Registerfly.com to host the EZlaptop.com web site. Please notify Registerfly.com and remind Registerfly.com of the "agreement" they have with EZlaptop.com and I quote," 14. Breach and Revocation: Registerfly.com reserves the right to suspend, cancel, transfer or modify your domain name registration or suspend, cancel or modify other services we provide in the event (a) you materially breach this Agreement (including the Dispute Policy) and do not cure such breach within thirty (30) days of notice by Registerfly.com, (b) you use the domain name registered to you to send unsolicited commercial advertisements in contradiction to either applicable laws or customary acceptable usage policies of the Internet, (c) you use your domain name in connection with unlawful activity, or (d) grounds arise for such suspension, cancellation, transfer or other modification as provided for in this Agreement. You further acknowledge and agree that your registration of a domain name is subject to suspension, cancellation or transfer by any ICANN procedure, by any registrar (including Registerfly.com) or registry administrator procedures approved by an ICANN-adopted policy, (1) to correct mistakes by Registerfly.com, another registrar or the registry administrator in administering the name or (2) for the resolution of disputes concerning the domain name. Clarification. You don't have to do anything that the ad says

If you go to EZlaptop.com, you give them $5 and then you login every day & click an ad until you have 210 points. One point per ad, usually one ad per day. You don't have to do anything that the ad says, just click the link at the bottom and a "thank you" message pops up. Once you get 210 points, then you click the "order my laptop" button and within minutes you get a tracking #. Now, that tracking # is their internal 3 digit tracking #, which of course is useless to the USPS or UPS. I can't get a shipping tracking #, which I would love. On the website itself it says you get a spanking new Sony Vaio laptop. The way they make their money I guess is from the advertisements posted (@ $75 a pop) as well as I guess not giving away laptops. On the "track my order" link on their page, when you put in your # it just reloads the page. No information, nothing. No response from them after 4 e-mails. I even went to whois.com & tried to find a phone number but got some BS recording with no way to leave a message. Now I'm stuck. :(

Check UPS & USPS with the tracking number and see what you come up with. Im kind of confused on your story. Did you pay $5 for a laptop, or $5 to join a club to get points, that you could later turn in for a laptop? If you think you were going to get a quality laptop for $5, I think they got you on that one. I personally dont think the hassle of going online everyday and writing several emails would be worth it if you just lost $5.
