I was coming out of a grocery store one evening and was stopped by some gentlemen selling magazine subscriptions to help them get extra money for the holidays. So I felt sorry for them and decided to sign up for a magazine subsciption.

After reveiwing my own expenses, I realized that I jsut couldnt afford the subscription. So I called Face to Face and asked them how cancel my subscription and my check. They advised me that the order was not in the system yet but the check had been cashed and that I needed to get a copy of the cashed check and then fax it over to them along with the receipt.

I did as they requested and then called them back to make sure that they received it and the person advised that they had received it and that it would take 4-6 weeks to receive my refund.

It is now going on over 2 months and I have not yet received my refund. In the beginning, I called numerous times and only got an answering machine so I left a message everytime. In the past few weeks when I call, I only get a busy signal.

I cant believe that their are companies let alone people that feel ok with scamming people out of money.

What is this world coming too?
