Fairfield Properties Their Scam has been going on for years!! Commack New York
I lived in a Fairfield Property in North Babylon from 1995-1998. Guy above me owned his apartment & practiced golf on the wooden floor. He changed the interior construction of his apartment which I also had to listen to; then I realized I could hear him pee and throw up. Quite lovely.
Fairfield told me that they would lie in court and say that they had shown me another apartment and I had refused to move. A few months later, he skipped in the middle of the night. Then I had to listen to the construction to rebuild which included jackhammering because he had installed a tile floor.
When I moved, I took lots of photos. They deducted about $400 for allegedly having to clean the apartment. I sent them my photos which showed the sunlight sparkling off the refrigerator interor and the immaculate bathroom. Then they sent me a General Release to execute which was filled out completely incorrectly (I had been a paralegal) but I signed anyway because I wanted the balance of my security returned. I got it all back except for $20 for a spot on the carpet. I didn't argue that the spot had already been there because I wanted to move on.
Watch out for the 4C's properties (Cassetta) also. If Michele Cassetta is involved, be prepared to be treated like dirt.
