WOW, WHAT A MISLEADING PRESS RELEASE (No fault of Alex Ben Block)! I ALMOST THOUGHT THAT FAME & PHILANTHROPY, aka, RYAN LONG WAS AFFILIATED WITH THE CLINTON FOUNDATION.

**IMPORTANT** ATTENDEES AND AFFILIATES OF THIS EVENT, TAKE NOTE:

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/james-cameron-charlize-theron-bill-677173#comments

This is clearly a FOR-PROFIT EVENT, which is leveraged on the ticket sales that reportedly haven’t even happened. Who is the “celebrity chef”? The “other stars”? The “celebrity music artist”? The “fashion designer”? HM, ME THINKS THEY’RE NOT NAMED BECAUSE THEY HAVEN’T COMMITTED TO THIS EVENT. The Executive Producer of Fame & Philanthropy, Ryan Richard Long, aka, Ryan Royce Long, aka, “King Ryan” is quite the interesting character. I don’t believe that Charlize Theron, James Cameron, Robert DeNiro or the Clinton Foundation have any idea who is slinging their names around and (allegedly) causing them harm merely through this affiliation. Ryan Long is a far cry from the Hollywood hot shot that this article alludes to. He reportedly lives with his grandmother and makes less than $50,000/year as an employee for a medical collections company that recently opened its new “entertainment division”: Creative Edge Entertainment, just a few months ago (specifically for this event).  This “entertainment company” has no assets to speak of. It has put vendors (and reportedly, the entertainment) on payment plans, and pays through its medical collections company’s account. Ryan Long is all over Ripoff Report for scams and even an alleged theft:

http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/King-Ryan-Events/Hollywood-California-/King-Ryan-Events-Ryan-King-He-entered-to-my-private-office-without-permission-and-afterwa-754141

Ryan Long has a 2010 Chapter 7 Bankruptcy; multiple tax delinquencies, state and federal; two companies SUSPENDED by the Secretary of State in 2013 (King Ryan Events and X2 Industry Productions Inc.); a 2009 criminal conviction for Vandalism (CPC 594(A)); arrests/charges for threats of great bodily injury (CPC 4422),

CHILD ENDANGERMENT (CPC273(a)), brandishing a deadly weapon (CPC 417(a)(1)); and a 2012 LAWSUIT from his ONE AND ONLY SIMILAR EVENT, “FAME AT THE MANSION”: http://www.entlawdigest.com/home/backissues.aspx (key word: Ryan Long).

The “charity,” CITY Project is reportedly making only 10% off the ticket sales, AFTER THE 20% COMMISSION TO AFFILIATES (if any tickets ever sell). A background report on Ryan Long indicates that he may have had up to 4 Social Security Numbers issued to him. This is clearly a FOR-PROFIT EVENT, PRODUCED BY A WELL-DOCUMENTED (ALLEGED) SCAM ARTIST.  BUYER BEWARE!

The truth ...and my side of the story

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tue, February 10, 2015

There are certain parts of the blog post above that are true and certain items that are false. I am going to reply with all honesty here on this ripoff report so that people know my side of the story as well.

Here are my rebuttals:

  1. Fame & Philanthropy 2014 raised over $350K for combined charities of CITY, CTAOP, Jenesse Center, CHIME, and The Compound Foundation. This blog is meant to say that the event was not a fundraiser which is incorrect. The event was certainly a fundraiser and we registered all of the details through the California State Attorney General’s office. Fame & Philanthropy is a for profit company that coordinated an event for a non-profit charitable organization. The event was legally and morally compliant with all rules and regulations.
  2. The accusers states that the celebrities were not going to participate in the event. Obviously, the accuser made these claims prior to the event. When you go onto the official website of the event you can clearly see that all of the celebrities that we presented in press releases arrived at the event… as well as many other celebrities. Here is a video if you would like to see for yourself:

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CulV7S2UsDY

  1. Although the accuser claims that the event was leveraged on ticket sales, that statement is inaccurate and false. The event was privately funded through investors.
  2. The accuser states that I lived with my Grandma… This is accurate. After a break-up with my then fiancée, I lived with my Grandma for a while. As of this date February 10, 2015, I have recovered and moved out to Burbank. Why is this a subject of debate on the ripoff report?
  3. The accuser also correctly stated that Creative Edge Entertainment was formed to complete this event, and was funded by a medical management company. And it is also correct that the deposits from the company were projected over a period of time so that revenues could match operating expenses. I see no controversy with that, and why mention my $50K a year salary with Creative Edge Entertainment?
  4. The accuser accurately states that I have multiple ripoff reports and then lists several complaints against me over and over… .the report about me walking into the carpet guys office and then stealing his camera simply isn’t true. I bought my red carpets from that guy for years and years. He was a good friend of mine and it’s his word against mine. He never called me and asked me if I could bring his camera back… the only call I ever got from that guy was him blaming me before I could say anything. So, here’s the thing, if you think that I stole this guy’s camera then hook me up to a lie detector and you’ll find out the truth.
  5. Yes, my taxes were behind and as of today I still haven’t completely fixed that issue. However, I have engaged a tax attorney at OMNI that is helping me to do an offer and compromise.
  6.  Yes, in 2010 I filed for bankruptcy because I had foreclosures and repo’s stemming from 2008 mortgage crisis.
  7. Yes, I have criminal convictions and several different arrests. I have paid my debts for these and continue to pay for them because of blogs like this.
  8. Yes, I had an event called Fame At The Mansion and a resulting suit from a person that said he was going to bring money into the event… and he failed to do so. The event was extremely successful and that guy knew it. So he sued me and we settled out of court for a small amount.
  9. Yes, we did pay commissions to marketing affiliates in exchange for referrals for the event. I am not ashamed or hiding that.
  10. The accuser lists the TMZ article that followed the event. TMZ was not at the event and made a bunch of false and/or misleading statements. Also, in the TMZ report, they claim that they reached out to me for comment… That is a false statement and TMZ is not a credible news organization. I offer contrast in the form of ABC as they reported live from the event - a positive review of the event! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJZQQePOow0
  11. There are several other reports about me on the ripoff report that the accuser has listed. I acknowledge that I have received complaints about past events and I encourage anyone that is curious to read through the complaints. In my opinion, feedback is important and I correct the wrongs that I have made and continue to move forward with my career as an event producer. Although there are complaints against me and I have a troubled past with the law, I believe that my track record has produced a huge amount of supporters… I have hundreds of people that I can list as references and am proud and grateful for their support. Would you like some references? I am happy to provide them
  12. Lastly, I challenge the accuser to post his real name, and refute with evidence that any statement that I have made in my rebuttal is not the truth. I CHALLENGE YOU.

Best,

Ryan  My cell# is still the same and I am not hiding - (818)903-2527

"King Ryan" Long has really made the big time with his 2014 Fame and Philanthropy Oscars Inaugural Event.  TMZ took photos and video, calling it "trashy," "disgusting," "gag-inducing" and "Vegas on a bad night."  Some would call it a total scam.  tmz.com/2014/03/03/charlize-theron-oscars-party-disaster-photos-video/3/#comments-anchor
