Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have been dealing with this company for several years now. I turned over five credit card balances to them, and they were quick to negotiate better interest rates for me. I was excited. These days, they are even quicker to take my $270 every 1st of the month just like clockwork. I can always depend on that.

What I cannot depend on, however, is for these "credit counselors" to disperse my payments to my creditors. Every single month I can always count on my payments not making it to my creditors on time. I've been given every excuse in the book for this happening--everything from delays because of hurricanes to simple old computer glitches. Whatever.

Whichever completely incommunicative, unhelpful counselor I speak with--take your pick, they're all that way-- tell me they have no control over what the acounting department does. Okay, sure. And, don't dare ask to speak to someone in the accounting department to find out why we're knocking on October's door and neither your August nor your September payments have been sent to your creditors. The accounting department, I am told, does not have phones. Perhaps, people, this is part of the problem. These accounting folks at FCC are so archaic and inefficient that they do not have phones, which understandably slows the process. I do hear, though, that the owner of FCC has some fancy cars and a few houses. At least someone is enjoying my $35 monthly "contribution", along with the other $230 not being sent out on time each month.

The way I see it, I've given this "NOT-FOR-PROFIT" about $2000 of my personal money, aside from the other thousands they've taken to send to my creditors if and when they get around to it. I would love, love, love, to collaborate with someone on a class-action case or for an attorney to take on my case and shut this company down for what amounts to complete and total misrepresentation and fraud.
