I do know that Fantastic Sams anywhere has a customer profile program in their computers systems. If they are keeping proper salon records your profile will let them know everything you have had done to your hair, who did it and what color formula worked and what one didn't. They even know what hair care products you have purchased and when. Unless you are buying professional products from them so they know what you do to your hair after a chemical service a lot of salons wont stand behind the work. One bad thing about a lot of stylist, they do everything they can to keep other stylist form knowing what they put on a customers hair in hopes of maintainning that customers business for themselves. Therefore they wont record anything. The customer should always ask that the stylist maintain proper service records when using a chain salon. The stylist don't have a set schedule because the owners want the customers to get used to the salon not any one stylist. That way when they come in they will be used to different stylist doing their hair and it wont matter when a stylist leaves. All the while the salon puts pressure on the stylist to meet a production qutoa and keeps track of their product sales and customer request. If they don't meet a predetermined production and sales rate they may find themselve out of a job.
