I ordered a costume for my six year old from FantasyToyland.com and it was shown as in stock. I told my child that they were going to get the costume, and we ordered accessories for it from other sellers.

I waited and waited for an order shipping update from FantasyToyland.com, and it never came. I called the company on several occasions and waited on hold for very long times, including, and I am not exaggerating, 2 hours on one occasion.

Finally I received a voice-mail 11 days after ordering the item that it was not in stock and I would be refunded.

Of course the problem was that in the meantime I couldn't find the costume in stock except for ebay where it cost much more and I had to pay for express shipping for it to get to us in time for a Halloween event on October 28. We'll see if that even happens.

I am not happy for the stress and cost I had to go through to avoid disappointing my six year old. I called FantasyToyland.com and spoke to a customer service agent, after waiting 1 hour and 40 minutes, and they said all they can do is offer me 5% off my next order from them.

As if I would ever order from them again. They weren't very contrite about the incident, either. It's stressful enough trying to find what you need for Halloween without misleading advertising and business practices and terrible service.

I am writing this in the hopes that even one person avoids the hassle, cost and stress I experienced when dealing with FantasyToyland.com. Avoid this seller, their website is buggy, their practices are deceptive and their service is horrible.
