FAQ900 big time ripoff 900 company is a scam and integretel doesn't tell you this Internet
I just got home from work and read my phone bill. Was I suprised to have a $40.00 charge for a 2 minute 900 call.
I called my 900 provider (Integretel, Inc.) and asked what it was for. I was told it is where you download games and are charged for them. I never bought any games, i have tried them through yahoo, but not charged for them.
I am reporting this company to the FCC and Better Business Bureau and any place else I can think of. We work too hard to just GIVE $40.00 to some ripoff company. I went on the internet to find this place and ended up here. I found some interesting reading from some other people.
This is ridiculous and they need to be stopped. If you have been ripped off by this company and have found a way to deal with them or get your charges reversed, please let me know.
My bill says that my local or long distance telephone service will not be interupted by not paying this bill, but my be pursued for nonpayment of legitimate charges. They will see these charges are NOT LEGITIMATE. I also had Integretel, Inc. block this 900 number and intend to call BellSouth and have them block ALL 900 numbers.
