ripoff - $40 charge appeared on my SBC bill from this company for a call we never made. This is attempted theft plain and simple. I'm going to check with the Illinois commerce commission(ICC)1-800-524-0795 http://www.icc.state.il.us/ci/consumerservices.aspx

and file a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General office (consumer Fraud complaint)1-800-243-0618

I believe this all began when I purchased a new Dell PC and connected my phone line and registering for AOL 6 months free. Just by opening the AOL home page the dialer Spyware(dialer) software got loaded on my PC. There were no prompts or agreement to a license(EULA). I have cancelled AOL and went back to Cable modem with firewall and run Ad Ware (Spyware) removal software from http://www.lavasoft.de so far no more issues. WATCH OUT these theives are all over the web just by opening a infected webpage. My policy never download anything that's free from the web it probally has spyware inbedded.
