Only in it for money-DON'T CARE ABOUT ANIMALS-Farfels Animal Rescue and Adoption Farfels Rescue Farm Sold me ill dog, didn't get proper vet care, lied to me. Complained when I asked them to get proper vet care. This dog had crust and PUS coming out of her ears, and "they didn't realize it" they also "didn't know she was deaf". Boulder Colorado
I saw this little dog on the internet and wanted to find out more about her, so I got in touch with the rescue group that rescued her to ask some questions. At first they wanted too much money for an adoption, but then they cut the price down to almost nothing. Now I see why .They brought this dog to me, and they said she had been fostered with them for the last four months, but she looked like she was still being abused, she was so skinny that I could fit my fingers around her waste! Yes, she is a small dog, but her ribs and backbone were sticking out. The lady said that the dog only had 7 teeth, buy they had no special food for her (wet food) to eat, they just had small sample bags of dry food that people donated, they they "wet it down until it got mushy".The hair on her back was gone, and also on her tail, and they said it was due to "allergies", and she did have a biopsy, but that was from the animal hospital in Texas where they originally found her. But she was not on any medications for this, not on any special diet (no grain), she had no medicine to rub on her skin, nothing! Then, the lady said she "didn't have her medical records with her" so I did make sure she called and let me know that this dog had her shots (but did not put her on Heartworm medication, just tested it for her). She said that she would have the main office send the medical records, but there weren't many, boy, THAT'S for sure! The only thing she had in the way of medicine was some eye cream for that allergy infection. But, her ears had crust in them and pus was coming out, and "they didn't notice". They "didn't even notice that she was deaf" when I told them! So I threw a fit and said I wanted their "so called" vet to come to my house and treat her properly. He did come out, didn't do a d**n thing, and now he refuses to send me the dogs medical records because "he felt he'd done enough by coming out to my house on his free time." I didn't rescue this dog from the streets, I rescued her from that Rescue Group that supposedly "saved her". Incidently, she is doing very well now.
