Farjami Farjami LLP Not a pleasant experience Mission VIejo California
I had to beat rush hour traffic to get to an interview with Michael Farjami. I went in reallly happy and optimistic as I was starting my career in patent law. Unfortunately, my interview experience was not great. Mr. Farjami seemed very irritated the whole time. I organized the numerous documents that he requested into a portfolio and he was annoyed that I used abbreviations on the tabs. He noticed that I lived over 35 miles away and we basically argued over whether or not the commute would be an issue. (Let me decide if the commute bothers me.) He briefly glanced over my writing samples and then said they would only consider someone who would be there for at least 4 years. I said I was not sure if I could commit to 4 years right off the bat, and he ended the interview before we could even go over my qualifications. I am highly skeptical that I would've been happy at this law firm given my interview experiences. Unfortunately, they don't reimburse you for your whole work day effort of driving many miles through congested OC traffic to get to his law firm. What a waste of time.
