Farmers Insurance ripoff - they cancel your home you cancel your cars, life, etc.! Texas
So Farmers Insurance is getting out of writing and continuing Homeowners Insurance in Texas. I was furious when they changed my broadform homeowners policy to the old basic policy which cost more money and didn't cover squat! Now I'm really angry. Farmers insures my home and 2 autos--for quite a lot of money, I might add. Sure, they've had mold claims in Texas--but mold should never have been covered under the policy because mold is NOT caused by the sudden and accidental discharge of water, and should have been specifically excluded. I strongly believe that most of their loss came from their investments in the stock market which have fallen substantially in the last year.
Not only will I be looking for a new insurance company for my home, but I will also switch my autos--so there Farmers--take that to the bank. I urge all other Farmers victims to do the same!!!
