In defense of the Orthodox Church Priesthood, almost all of them are pleasant, honest, and dedicated men. This complaint is about a Priest Impersonator, a skunk whose odor overpowers a Rose Garden.

Father Demetrios was apparently an Antiochian Orthodox Priest in Mission Texas, or was he? The church was listed in the phose book in the mid-90s, but apparently it failed. It is even questionable that a service was ever held by this church. The Antiochian Church disavows this mission, so already we should have been suspicious when he appeared on our doorstep.

He introduced himself as a traveling Priest. He showed a talent for getting donations and special resources. Little did we know that he was running up debt in our name. He claimed to be a Professor of Ethics [which would be true if you consider Houdini a Locksmith]. One day, he announced that he was leaving for a Chaplincy for the Iraqi War, and abscounded. Then, we discovered the damage. We had to renounce some debts and pay others, depending upon circumstances. We got off lucky!

Be on the lookout for Father Demetrios. Ask for verification of his credentials through his Bishop's Office. Father Demetrios has Black Hair, not particularly well combed, and his locks were shorter than the average Priest's. When we knew him, he was clean shaven. He is thin and of medium build. He has a large unmistakable bulging hernia in front and about his belt, probably his most distinguishing feature. "Father Demetrios" is most likely an alias, so don't take that name too literally.

Though this is not a formal complaint, but it IS a Heads-Up. If you see him, contact the nearest Bishop's Office or Deanery. When they catch him, he'll have some explaining to do!

Father Demetrios, I hope you're crazy enough to post a rebuttal!
