Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have been a Spiegel customer for over 8 years. I have taken issue since the day I received a notice stating my card was being cancelled, with no real explanation. I called, and was told they sent out the cards and could have given a reason and apologized for making me feel as though it was revoked due to something I did.

Since then, it has been a nightmare. There was nowhere I could send my payment. No one knew a number to contact etc. Then the 1st bill comes from the bank that took over the loan. And there are late fees. I called and protested, explaining Eddie Bauer would no longer take my payments and depending on what numbers my account started with, would dictate where my payment would need to go, but that they didn't have any information aside from that. I was told, sorry, the late fee remains since you were late. I advised her I was late due to the switch over that I was not made aware of until the payment was already late. It did no good. She tells me to write a letter but there was really nothing they could do, more like would do.

I have not received a bill in over 2 months now. I have had to call the automated system to get my amount due etc. I tried to get a human to explain why I have not received a bill.

I found a number on here (866-503-0872) but it is for the collections dept. A man advised me of an address they had for me. I told him I have lived in the same place for over 3 years. I also asked for a number to reach someone in case there is still an issue. He provided the same 516 576-8706 number. When I told him there is not even an option to speak to someone, he placed me on hold to call it, and hung up on me....this company totally sucks and even though I make a payment every month, more than the minimum, I have the same balance as I did a year ago. I would love to be a part of a class action. Thanks, I needed to vent.
