Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I had been to a few sites looking for info on government grants. One day a man called me, saying he was a representative of federal grant services a government based grant service help organization. He than told me that being a gov. based business that their only charge for the info was a one time $1.87.

I was hesitant and questioned him, being I am disabled and living on a small fixed income, he assured me they were a gov. organization and everything was secured and swore to me the only charge they would ever put on my debit card was $1.87. Trusting him I foolishly gave him my debit card info.

Two weeks went by and this co. sent me irrelivant info on a cd.I was then debited $73.91 from my checking account, after being lied to about the one time $1.87. This was on the 10th of Dec,2009. This caused my checking account to go insufficient funds. Not knowing or ever authorizing these charges I continued using my debit card causing hundreds of dollars in overdrafts and insf. fund charges.

On the 18th of Dec. 2009 my bank inforned me of this problem.I called federalgrantservices.com only to be called a liar and a low life hillbilly. I continued the dispute and the representative laughed over the overdrafts and told me to go f--- myself and said I am going to return the $73.91 and the overdrafts; their co. was responsible for, were a lesson to me.

On the 26th of Dec.2009 I started recieving more debit charges from this co. After many demands for the return of my funds and the charges caused by them, the responses they have given me were all in four letter words.

On Jan. 5 ,2010 this company left a message on my 13 year old neices cell phone calling her names and telling her that if her father continued to contact them about my money they have fraudulantly stolen, that they were going to come after her.

At this point I have been to my local law enforcement, with the voice mails left to my neice, and all they have told me is there is nothing they can do.I then called the FBI in Beaumont,Tx. and was informed they don't have time for me.

After much searching I found the gov. agency to contact. For everyones info they are called IC3, internet crime complaint center, the DJA, department of justice assistance, the NW3C, the national white collar crime center and the FBI, Federal Burea of Investigation [ I hope you get a more compitant agent than I did].

If this co. has defrauded you also please contact IC3 at the FBI website. Child predaters and credit card fraud people like these need to be imprisoned. If you have any doubt of my statements spend the $1.87 and see what happens to you within 3 weeks. At that time you too will be contacting the FBI and IC3 only to be sent to the DJA  and the NW3C,

Please help to stop child predaters like these. If their internet fraud and credit card fraud is not enough we have to stop predaters like these whom threaten our children to extort money.

FGS Grants helped me get a grant.

I found the website www.fedgrantservices.com sometime in November and immediately signed up for the free report and the monthly "grant finding" service.  After one month of waiting I started to get anxious and upset.  I called the company (and was able to contact them via their customer service number - 866-503-0576) and asked why I had not yet received any money.  After speaking with someone at FGS Grants for almost an hour I started to understand the grant application process more completely.

Once I knew what I was doing I started to actually research institutions that fund private grants.  I found a non-profit community energy grant that was almost exactly what I was looking for.  I applied for the grant using the skills I had learned by reading the FGS materials and then I made an application.

After I applied I knew there was no reason for me to stay subscribed to this service so I sent an email to support asking them to cancel my account.  Here is where they screwed up: They did not refund my money for at least two weeks.  I called and they said that they had "no knowledge" of the refund or of me calling in - which upset me.  Then they agreed to completely refund the money for the time that I had not utilized their service.

I had to call to get things resolved, but once I did call everything was taken care of.

After reading the last report I was envisioning a lot more trouble, but after speaking to this company I seriously doubt that they are child predators or that they tried to steal any money.  The most I can blame on them is that their email support did not work as I had hoped...
