I am a small business owner for the last 10 years, and I have worked out of my home for the last 27 years. In all of those years I have NEVER and I mean NEVER received a package from Fedex Ground without having to get on the computer and make a bunch of phone calls to find my packages.

The most recent problems seems to be with the intellagenct level of the FEDEX drivers. They semm to be a bunch of LIERS and theives. I had a package received in my local area on Nov 13th and when I tracked the package down it said it was on the truck for delivery. When we called the local office we where sent to the National call center, (which was no help) they proceded to tell me that they have no way of communicating with the driver (we all know that is a lie) and my package will be delivered to me tomorrow. Four days in my community and I have to get on the phone and call the terminal to find out where my package is.

THis is NOT the first time this has happened, NO it is the 8th time it has happened and I tell all my vendors that I will not except any package sent Fedex, but unfortunitly I have to run a business and if I need the product I have to PUT up with FEDEX Ground total LACK of concern for the customer, total Lack of professionalism, total lack of common sense.

Two years ago a FEDEX driver who DID NOT do his job, told his manager that he knock on the plate glass door of OUR business and we where out of business. I told the manager if he would come to my office/house and show me a plate glass door on my HOME that I would agree with him, but considering we DID NOT HAVE any plate glass doors, then the driver was lying.

Three years ago FEDEX deivered products and left them in the YARD. YES I SAID IN THE YARD. I refused to bring them in the house and made the management come out and take it in my house.

Just three months ago I have a shipment that I tracked and the computer said it was in town and wating for delivery, I called the local office and it took me two days and I had to talk to the terminal manager and he brought it to me himself ( after 9:00PM).

This is not what we expect when we ship with these idiots, we expect to receive our product, when they tell us they are expecting to deliver them.

I am currently waitng on my products to be delivered, but you can rest assure, I will NEVER use FEDEX for anything.

I totally understand what you are saying.  This is the third time Fed Ex claims they attempted to deliver my packages and they never even attempted to do so.  There wasn't even a info notice left! 

I try to stay away from them as much as possible but in business thats hard to do.  I know for a fact they never come because my office is facing the parking lot so I see who cames and goes.

The drivers are either lazy, or lie just to get on with the day.  The customer service support is a sham, and they have a its not my fault attitude.  Do yourself a favor and use UPS.  I really do hate Fed Ex!

They are nothing but trouble, if you want to actually receive your package with no huge hassles or delays, send it through the post office or via UPS. At least those two know how do deliver! Fedex is awful, their drivers are incompetent and don't know how to back their vehicles up. I think you HAVE to be stupid to drive for them!

Yes i understand your pain sir. i recently bought an item off ebay!i used my fedex account and scheduled a ground pick up from the seller of the auction to have the item shipped to me. well i recieved 2 of the 3 pieces i had shipped. the first quote i got was for feb. 19th. I was like great shipment will be fast and i never experianced any problem with fedex before i used ground!!!. well the 19th came and my package was still sitting in PA. and it was supposed to be in ga! so i call csr just like you. who act like they're just retarded.Saying well were not sure why there is no activity on your package. next day i track it it finally moves from pa to lewisberg. all 3 pieces . Now i get a delivery estimation of 23. im like ok that is no inconvience to wait a few more day.although the shippment was shipped on the 15th.23rd comes around and all that is on my doorstep is 1 package! Now im starting to get worried. i track my package and the other 2 have been delayed!so i call and ask why they weren't delivered all on the same day. NO answers can be givin. so thursday i get yet another package and it was only 1! so now im getting alittle angry i call because my 3rd package has NO ESTIMATED delivery date! ANd NOW they tell me oh your package is lost or damaged . and yet i waited to file a claim. so i wait till monday and do another track on my package still no estimated delivery!i call again now they tell me damaged package but they don't know if the product is damaged or just the packaging. so i wait one more day to have them contact the terminal. now it is lost not damaged so i tell them i want to file a claim!!so the lady says ok i will mail your claim forms and it takes 5 days for your claim to go through.well the next day i called to ask if my claim papers have been mail yet i still have not recieve the claim forms in the mail yet. but the same day the lady e-mails me the forms. But the first time i called and filed the claim i could not be emailed the forms. i swear these csr are retarded and need to be on the same page as all the other people in the csr center. i faxed my claim and it is still under review. if it falls through i will file a small claims court case and i will make them pay for my product and my wasted time calling and going through a crap load of stuff for a 3 day shipment that should have been delivered all together.So i really feel exactly what you mean when you were talking about the ground department.my package was worth 400. if they don't give me that i will sue them for every penny plus the anguish they put me through to get my product . your response would be great if you would like to put something in.i will update the case as it goes along. thanks and have a good day

First of all I am not an employee of Fedex ground therefore any of the topics or discussions further stated are not in any way associated the company in itself. I cannot believe that a business owner cannot spell although you have the nerve to insult us Fedex ground drivers let me refresh your memory moron "The most recent problems seems to be with the intellagenct level of the FEDEX drivers. They semm to be a bunch of LIERS and theives". I hope you are happy you just made a real a*s out of yourself. Oh before I forget I am not an employee but I am an S Contractor of Fedex Ground we are all contractors the only actual employees FedEx ground has is the managers. In addition we do not have any form of communicating with the terminal operations other than cell phones. As for that any driver with common sense would not give their number to the manager because morons like yourself would be calling because the wind blew their pkg off their trailer steps and they are to lazy to go retrieve them. I would say I'd trade jobs with you but I am a professional Driver and I don't think that I could ever be a "Trailer court supervisor ".
