I was searching on the internet for a lender for people with bad credit. I got a call from Daniel Nash that same day (May 20,2008) offering me $5000 with the exception of paying them 5 months payment ahead of time. I thought about it for a couple of days and thought I would only be out of my $785 overnite. "Daniel" had me do a wire transfer to Canada to an "Arthur Marluna"

The following day a man named Frank called me to say that Daniel Nash had made a mistake and I had to send them another $800, so I told them that I did not have it and "Frank" said that the contract was voided and was no good.

I was supposed to recieve my money back 7-10 days later and to this day I have not recieved anything back. Their phone # does not go through and I have no other way of contacting them. I am a single mom of 3 daughters

and a grandmother of a newborn grandson. I am trying to put 2 of my daughters through college and that day I felt like this was the worst thing that someone could have done to me at this point of my life. The thing I will never forget is what "Daniel" said to me the last time when he had finally STOLEN my money was "SPEND YOUR MONEY WISELY" That M*R F*R!!

It was pointed out here before that advance fee loans are illegal.

And your money is probably gone. Being asked to wire transfer money to people whom you do not know is always a very bad sign. These scammers change their 'business names' and their phone numbers more often than most people change their underwear. The meltdown of the mortgage industry (a very large bank was taken over just this past Friday) has resulted in people with EXCELLENT credit having problems getting a loan. I bet there will be a lot more people posting here about how they have been scamed the same way you were scammed.
