Financial Accountability Associates scam harrassment Nationwide Arizona
Financial Accountability Associates contacted me stating I owed a loan from Fast Cash. I told them I have never had a loan with this company and I asked them to send me the information. They rattled off my SS#, Bank number and routing number.
As it would anyone, this scared me. They stated They were attourneys and were filing fraud charges at 5pm and I could go to jail. They also told me they would come to my work. I told them go ahead as I knew I did not owe this money and even if I did it was not a charge for criminal court.
I hadn't heard from them again for about a month. This lady named Jenny Smith contacted me. I asked for a number and called her back. I then got a gentleman named Mark. I asked him to fax me information on this debt I supposedly owed. He said he couldn't do this.
I told him I believed they were not attourney's, had no authority what so ever, and were just attempting to scam vulnerable people. I asked him for his attounrey number so I could check it. He hung up on me.
Let's see how long it takes them to call back next time.
I hope people are not giving these scam artists any money as this is obviously not a legitimate company.
