EDitor's UPDATED info 2-20-04: Rip-off Report is still receiving complaints that they are not receiving the refunds as promised. Rip-off Report has been in contact with the Company and has made them aware of these issues. They have assured us that refunds are being given to those who are providing them with all the correct contact information requested by them. They have also provided confirmation/proof of over 2,600 refunds to date, on a spreadsheet, and Rip-off Report staff called and verified more than a dozen consumers at random, all very angry & outraged, but, they all did get their refund. The company again apologized for the delay and reported that credit to your account could take as long as 4-5 days. As we understand it, this company only does the processing for all the other companies, so they are at the mercy of those companies funds, further delaying your refund.

Rip-off Report is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will, ..we'll see. Rip-off Report will continue to investigate more into this situation, and we will eventually post an UPDATE to the main Report at this web address: https://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=76605

Please be patient, we can only tell you what they are telling us.

CONSUMERS REPORT

I was contacted by Financial Benefits in November of 2003 and promised a credit card in fifteen business days after 299.00 dollars was taken from my bank account.

A month went by until I contacted them again. I waited for over a half an hour until someone got on the phone and assured me that the package with my credit card was on the way. I finally recieved a folder with useless credit repair info and various applications for loans and junk. no credit card was in the folder. just a number to acctivate some phony benefits and a year membership in their scam. I then contacted Financial Benefits again and again.

Both times I was rudely disconnected. I have called numerous times only to be told rudely that my card was either on the way or that i wasnt getting the card until i filled out an application to be approved by a local bank which they were suppose to have sent me already. none of this makes sense considering that ive been told a different scenario and what to expect each time that i have spoken with Financial Benefits.

I have since not been able to get a hold of this company. Ive been screwed and I want my money back from this criminal organization. What can I do!? i believe the first person that i have spoken with from Finacial Benefits was a Vance Wickstrom?
