www.findacase.com COMPLAINT!

This is a complaint against findacase.com.

findacase.com website is ruining lives. They are airing lawsuits online against innocent people. The people are unable to find jobs because of the lawsuits. I found one lawsuit against findacase.com, but the guy represented himself and lost. Jason Lee Nieman was the guy who sued; I don't know him, but I have sympathy for him because the same thing is happening with me as he mentioned in his lawsuit. I'm having a problem finding a job because of what is being said inside findacase.com

Nieman v. VERSUSLAW, INC.

I would like to see findacase.com to give people the opportunity to remove their names from its database. Although findacase is displaying public records, those public records are not made available on the internet by the court houses. The onle making them available through the internet is findacase.com, and they are doing it as a profit and a means to humiliate the person. It would be nice if findacase.com would just give a link to allow people to remove the offending information.

findacase.com is hurting innocent people, as these people are unable to find jobs and when they do find jobs, their coworkers google their name and make fun of them and spread rumors about a lawsuit they don't understand. They only read on the surface, but they don't understand the details, so they spread false rumors.

I realizize the lawsuits are public record, but the court houses that the lawsuits are filed, do charge people $1.00 a page, and in the past if somebody was searching for information on a specific person, then that person would have to know exactly what courhouse the lawsuit was filed and physically walk into that court house and fill our a form and give ID, then pay the clerk before they were given copies of the lawsuit. Therefore, it makes no sense that these same court houses would allow findacase.com to freely make available the lawsuits, as the website is taking money away from the court houses. It just makes no sense. I feel the court houses should step in and do something.

if anybody from findacase.com is reading this, then will you please give a link on your website that allows people to remove their name? I would appreaciate it if you did. Thank you.

What can others do who are also being denied employment opportunites expressly for the situations that you describe from FindACase.com.  The judge actually dismissed the lawsuit IN MY FAVOR, but still this report from FindACase.com haunts me.  You are absolutely correct that even if a lawsuit with your name on it, and none of the details are expressly given, people can speculate and make decisions about you falsely from information, while public, that is usually not so readily available.  According to FindACase.com, the whole point of their service forming "FindACase" is to readily help lawyers find case-law pertaining to their case.  Certainly FindACase.com could redact specific names in order to still define arguments made by lawyers and judges WITHOUT destroying the lives of the innocent.  This is a travesty, and honestly, it will only take time before a change is made.  One day a very wealthy individual or corporation will be caught up in this and the problem will be solved.  In the meantime, how can we gather more support for this issue?  Certainly there must me more folks in this predicament.
