First American Debt Solutions Took over $3000 to settle debts for 30% to 50% less than the balances and is giving me settlement amounts of 50% to 100% over the balances Ripoff Lewisville Texas
Signed up with First American back in February 2003. Paid them over $3000 to settle $25,000 worth of accounts. Promised my end pay out would be $14,000. $11,000 for debt plus the $3000 to them. Have been asking since beginning of 2004 for negotiations and getting absolutely nothing. Told them I wanted the settlements they promised or my $3000 refunded as my credit has been destroyed and the settlements they are getting now, 2 years after I requested them are well over 50% more than the original balances.
Was contacted by Doug Barker today and he said they had settlements of 50% on the balances 2 years ago but THEY decided they could do better and only now They claim I am the only one this has happened to despite other complaints on here and despite 2 other people I referred to the program that are having these same problems.
DO NOT get involved with them and if you have already, file complaints with the BBB and your attorney general along with complaints in Texas where they are located. They have ripped off enough of us already. I have contacted my attorney. Do the same thing, its the only way to stop these criminals.
