Watch out for ex-pff workers (Renae Simpson / Martin Nelson / Kathryn Devoursney that have started up the following companies:
First Assist Financial
Infiniti Wealth Services
They have defrauded and lied to hundreds of people and will continue to point the finger at others as they work dilligently to collect up front fees from distressed homeowners and do so without following the CA DRE or any laws in any state.
It is a matter of time as they move from such failed companies such as:
Bills Made Simple
Short ReFi Me
...and are now on the prowl executing the same bait and switch tactics (illegally, of course) while keeping just a few steps ahead of the camera crews / regulatory agencies / etc. as they are experts in creating the mess for companies with goals of actually helping people in need. Once people discover the poor job being done and the true lack of results being provided - they all just happen to leave and move to the next place for another 1-3 month stint.
Clueless as they are - this group will sit and try to stick their hand out while making false accusations about any and everyone in hopes of improving their lives or feeling justified in their ways...
Hopefully their records will soon enough catch up with them and those that are foolish enough to entertain associating with this 3-headed monster will turn them away in time...

i completely agree with this post! i worked at the same company months ago and this group (along with a few others that are not named) were pulling a bunch of scams to get money with many companies. they screwed all the customers out of potentially getting help and they REALLY screwed their co-workers by making a HUGE mess and leaving it for others to deal with! i cannot verify anything about the first two companies as it appears they have gone out of business (bills made simple and short refi me) - however - the first assist financial crew operates out of the same office as short refi me did by costco in san diego. obviously the same group putting together all of these operations and bringing them down together as well. at this point - i presume 20/20 will wise up a bit and contact this gang and sit them down. THAT would be a great show to see! thanks again miss renae simpson / martin nelson / kathryn newcomb (actual last name - or alias?) - you have really set the bar high!!!
