First Capital Consumers ripoff Bel Air Maryland
This credit consumer department has called me up claiming that I was approved for a credit card both mastercard and visa with a credit limit on both card of $5000.00. I did however let them take the money out of my checking account which was $199.00 and it was on July 8,2002. As of this date I had made alot of calls that I have proof which is on my long distance bill and stating how many times I have called them.
I haven't received nothing what so ever. A good friend of mine told me she also applied for the same card and told me that I should cancel what I was applying for because it wasn't what they said it is. Still a month and well almost going on two months and haven't received anything, so I deceided to take my friends advise and cancel my cards.
The lady that I had talk to told me that if I wanted to cancel I would have to wait for the package that they said they will mail after so many weeks and had to fax them the papers that was send for the credit cards and give a reason to get my money back. This is not what it seems, thinking it was a major credit company and they assured me that it was a credit card and not a debit card. I have spoken to different people and all of them were telling me different things. As of this date it's so hard to get in contact with them, always having the answering machine pick up and leaving a message so nobody could call you back.
I was rip off money of $199.00 and still no papers to send it back so I can get my money back. They told me a person's name that I can talk to but they said there exact words was get in line as everyone else. All I want is the money refunded to me and nothing more or less.
Something has to be done to these people that's doing this and they deserve the whole 100 yards when they get caught. I should of know it was to good to be true.
