Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We were approached back in June by a door to door salesmen regarding becoming an advertising home for FIrstline Security. We would recieve a free alarm and monitoring service for 36 months if we would put there sign in our front yard and there stickers to advertise there new company in the area. We agreed and they also told us they would pay the 44.95$ monitoring fee since we were an advertising home. Well the next month we were charged not once but 3 times for $44.95 by a company named SAI security. When i tried to call firstline and talk to a supervisor I couldnt get a hold of anyone. WHen i called Sai they said that Firstline sold my contract to them so the day that we had picked for the 44.95 after the 3 year period is no longer effective.

I along with my neighbor who was also duped in the same way went online and filed a consumer complaint with the BBB in Utah since that is the companys home base. Behold miraculously I get someone from first line who is a 20 year old college student telling me that they can basically do what they want with our contract and did i really believe that someone was going to give me a $1200 monitoring equipment for free. I said yes in fact the DVD that is given in the information packet also says so. He said well then i guess you are that nieve.

I requested that since they charged me 3 times in one month that they come get the device out of my house and let me end the contract.

They refused and said i would have to pay the full 1600$ or they would report me to the credit bureau and I told them they are not getting another dime from me and i am reporting them to every agency between here and Utah so some other hardworking family doesnt get duped. The kicker is I told them we do not own our house we simply rent and the landlord wants us to remove the system since we did not get his written permission. They still refused. I also did not know that we had to get permits from the city in order for the monitoring to work. We were to send in the permits and there numbers from the city before they could start monitoring. However since i do not own the house i can not obtain city permits so they have charged me $135.00 for nothing!

today a kid (20) year old college student called me from Firstline and asked me if i wanted to make a payment after him and i went rounds again regarding there devious practice he had the nerve to ask me if i was naieve enough to believe we were just going to give you a 1200$ system for free , to my surprise i said yes that is why they call it an advertisisg home i have the sign in my front yard and stickers on my window to help you promote your company. THat is what i was told and so were my neighbors that because we were an advertising home it would be free. After listening to the child rant on about how he would have made sure that he wouldnt get conned into this it outraged me even more. The only reason they are calling me now is to harrass me and piss me off even more.
