Several years ago I signed a contract with Firstline and I had equipment installed in my home, however, the system was never monitored. We called several times to have the matter corrected, but Firstline never "activated" my account nor did they bill me for service.
I then received a letter from Firstline stating that they had accounting problems in the past and they asked if I was willing to let them reinstate my account according to the contract agreement. I wrote them (Firstline) back telling them that they were in breech of our contract agreement from the beginning and that I did not wish to do business with them any longer. I also told them they should come pick up their equipment.
I never heard from them again until now. I do not owe any monies to Firstline Security because there was never any services renedered.
What can I do? I do not want this on my credit report.
