Fishburn Auto Body Theft of property in vehicle in their posession for repairs White Oak, Texas
I dropped my vehicle off for rear end and trunk damage. Upon doing so i told them that i had 2 storage containers in the trunk full of valuables that i could not remove due to the damage. They then stated that they would contact me when they open the trunk to begin repairs so i could remove my property. They never called and when i picked up my car after repairs were complete the containers are gone and no where to be found. I gave the "christian" business man a total of 8 business days to make amends. He offered at first to make restitution with money but i said i needed time to come up with an amount. Once i had, he then proceded to call me a liar and that my things were NEVER in the vehicle. Now i have to file a report with the JP and go through court proceedings. I am a single parent of 2 young children. I work 7 days a week and a total of 65 hours a week, and still barely make ends meet. The things takin were of not only centimental value and irreplacable but included electronics and such others.
