I am somewhat new to the Flight Sim world and have a copy of Microsoft Flight Sim X and one of the things I wanted to be able to do is paint over planes in the game to make them more personal to me. I know how to do many things in the game yet wanted a easier way to paint over planes. I purchased software from Flightsimtools called Repaint Wizard without actually testing the product. Normally I would not do that except the vender whom I purchased the product from has provided good software to me since the game has been released. I purchased the product on Marsh 05, 2010 and it installed with no issues and then I opened FSX just like the read me states. I opened the Repaint Wizard and it instantly began to throw errors within FSX. This is the time I did a search on the internet and found the developer of this program who is FlightSimTools. I posted my errors on the forum and two days later a admin of the product replied to my errors asking if there was something in the folder. I then did a search on the internet and his forum and found there are others with the exact same issue as I have had. The wed dev answer to my complaint is and I quote, "We offer a free demo of almost every product here, and we also give an unconditional 30-day money back guarantee when purchasing using the Flight1 wrapper. This is pretty much as risk free as it gets - if you don't like it, either don't buy it or get a refund. We only get to keep your money if you are happy with the product - and we have lots of happy customers!" Since I have no idea what a wrapper is and why it wasn't offered to me on the website I purchased this item I am out of my money. The thing I am more upset about is not so much the money but the total lack of support for a item that was purchased. His idea of support is buy another and I will give your money back. Yes I made a mistake for not checking to see if a demo is possible and trusting the original vender. So I am posting this and a link to the entire forum to show there are others with the same errors. Its one thing to have buggy software, its another to know about it and act this way towards a customer. My advice is for those looking to purchase software like this item not to purchase this program unless your willing to take a chance of it not working and you enjoy throwing $20.00 out the window.
