Complaint Review: FLIP DETROIT - DETROIT Michigan

       I am a first time home buyer and I went to this company thinkin that I was gonna luck up and finally buy a house for my family, I got a home a Beaverland and they lost the house due to back taxes owed so they put me in another home in Redford, Mi but didn't know they never followed the rules and polices of Redford.

    They never registered the home and they never did the closing on the water bill. So the poloice and the City of Redford started coming out to my home saying that we were illegal occupants & squaters. Even when I showed them my land contract it still wasn't enough, so began to get tickets in my name on the home. so the City of Redford informs me that in order for Flip Detroit, Detroit Property Exchange, Angel Group to get a home in the City Of Redford & sale it back to the publice they were to:

First purchase the home

 Than register the home 

Have inspectors out to inspect the home for all violations

Close on all water & utility bills 

Clear all leans on home

Bring all violations up to code

Have home to pass reinspected

Once passed inspection than put it up for sale........

    None of this was done. So I registered the home and the inspectors come out to inspect I was making little money so I was stuck with a $4000 water bill that I was told started since 2010 when I moved in the home in feb of 2013. I was taking the tickets to Flip Detroit they was tellin me ok somebody will call me, or somebody will handle it for you or I wouldn't get a response @ all. So my water gets cut off and I get the same run around telling me ok we will handle that & they never did so tryin to get my water together and still pay all my bills I got behind in my mortgage payments so they took me to court for non-payment when in all reality that really wasn't the case.

    So I'm strugglin to pay the $4000 water bill that they never closed on & saling it to me, It was hard keeping up with my bills and making sure my kids had what they needed and bring all the violations up to code and pay people to fix the violations that was requested, Than I got hit with foreclosure papers again so they told me to enter into a program to keep the house from going into foreclosure, so I got into there program started paying off the taxes but couldn't keep up with the mortgage payment cause I was paying the water bill, lights, gas, taxes, violations, tickets, & mortgage asked them to give me a me some time to pay on the mortgage cause I was paying the property taxes and fixing the violations & tryin to keep all my bills on @ the same time they told me NO!!!! cause I was already behind in payments.

    So now I get taken to court again I had til Dec 31st to pay $2225 I couldn't meet the deadline, and they knew that & continued to collect money from me & told me that was fine as long as I'm making some type of payment & effort, than I get a baliff note on my door sayin buy Febuary 23 I was schedule for eveiction unless I made arrangements with the company when I had already did that they were just waitin for my next check. So I go done there & she (Cynthia) says they never authurized that & called the people talked to them & canceled it out all together while I was there when I left and went back to work, I gave them that week another $1000 and she gave me til the 4th of the following month to get my other check, after she got the $1000 she went back into the system and had the baliffs rescheduled to come back out to my home to evicted us that Monday after Easter. So all the money was paid in Febuary and they continued to take money from me & we stayed in communication so they knew all of what was happening and had me to enter into another program whereas they would help me fix my home & get grants to close & repair. I followed all of this companies instructions on what they wanted & they decided to evict me & my family from the home the end of March and said I forfeited and they wanted the property back after they found out the house was out of foreclosure cause 2012 taxes was paid off!!!!

    I never went back to court or saw the judge they put a PENDING EVICTION NOTICE ON MY DOOR and sat a dumpster outside my home saying people were coming to set our things out that day & was gonna be there for 2 days clearing out the house. I had to go to the courts to stop eveiction & started looking for another home for me & my family just to come accross that they had my home up for rent for $850 a month.
