Flippa banned my account, because we opposed a racial comment made by one user who was a friend of owner of Flippa.

Flippa promised us to refund the listing fees. So far we have not received anything. You may read more about the incident below.


I was asking the support again and again as they were keeping on closing my support tickets as "RESOLVED" without even answering.

Please go through below.

Flippa is racial organization - they discriminate based on race...

  1. I have had a bad situation with Flippa.

    They are discriminating users by race..

    I am using Flippa since july 17th 2010. And I had 100% positive feedback and +11 trust rating.

    All of the sudden, I had an user contact me through Skype (I had given my Skype details in my listing). He was asking me to disclose some specific details before sale and I said that I can not do before sale. He asked me for a sale outside Flippa. Since it will violate terms of Flippa, I rejected his request.

    Immediately he started threatening me saying that he knew someone close to the owner of Flippa and I will be banned from Flippa..

    He started posting bad public comments about me (almost 31 comments within 1 hour) and I reported this to Flippa.

    They did not take action on him and suspended my account stating that he complained that I did not deliver all contents of my listing. In fact, he has not even placed a single bid in any of my listings.

    Please see my conversation with Flippa Support below and suggest me what should I do?

    I am thinking of taking this to media and government as it is purely based on racial discrimination.

    I could not see even a single dispute in any of my listings.

    Can you please explain why my account was suspended, when there are not even a single dispute?

    The 2 users are " UCashCow " and " basicnet ".

    You have until 5pm AEDST on Friday 7th January 2011 to have these issues resolved, otherwise we will be placing a permanent ban on your account.

    We will only reactivate your account if we have received email confirmation from the users who have lodged complaints that all issues have been resolved.

    Please do not send further correspondence explaining your side of the issues - simply resolve the issues, and get back to us.

    It is ridiculos. UCashCow was never a bidder or buyer in any of my listings. How can you say that he complained about me?

    In fact, me and user "ces" complained about UCashcow as he was spamming my listing saying that ces asked to do.

    I strongly condemn the act of Flippa in siding with a person not related to any of my listings. Is this justice?

    How can I resolve issue with UCashcow when he was neither a buyer nor a bidder?

    At least show me a listing which I sold to UCashcow...

    I had lot of respect with Flippa Support, but you are just ignoring me for no reason of mine...

    I am sorry...but I am thinking that it is a racial issue than actual issu

    You suspended my account last time based on complains from users 'hard2find' and 'ces'. And I proved that hard2find was never a bidder or buyer in any of my listings and 'ces' agreed that I delivered everything and it was his oversight.

    Now you are saying that you are confirming information from user 'UCashcow'. It will not take more than few minutes to check if he was ever a bidder or buyer in any of my listings.

    You are asking me to resolve issues with 'basicnet'. I clearly mentioned in the listings and I delivered what is listed. In private message and active discussion, I even offered to issue full refund.

    What more can I do, if he is not accepting any of my solutions including full refund?

    Please provide me a solution for the above request. UCashcow was never a buyer or bidder and I delivered everything listed in my listing to Basicnet. Please see private messages and you can understand the issue.

    If you want to ignore me for any other reason (race, country or something like that), please do let me know and I will not come and post again or list anything for sale in Flippa.

    Oh my god. UCashcow was neither a buyer or bidder in any of my listing. And why should you wait for information from him when he was nowhere related to any of the sales?

    He was claiming in one of his spam comments that he knew someone close to the owner of Flippa. You can see that in my private messages and Deleted Public Comments.

    Is this a reason for waiting for information from a person who is not related to my listings?

    What should I do then? Please let me know...Why should be my account suspended based on a complaint received from Ucashcow? And why should you wait for information from ucashcow when he was not a buyer or bidder? You can see that yourself that he never bid or buy anything from me...

    At least tell me what should I do?

    Is this a right way of answering customer request? Who is "UCashCow" in respect of my listings?

    Why should you suspend my account when I have had no sales with him?

    Is this not my basic right to ask, when I am told that I am suspended because someone who have not even placed a bid in any of my listings had complained?

    If I do not get a resolution, I am sorry that I have to consider this as racial attack on me..

    It is my basic right to explain my side to you when I am punished for no reason.

  2. If the complainant was a buyer or at least a bidder in any one of my auctions...I would have accepted this.

    But the complainant was never even placed a single bid in any of my listings. How can Flippa say that they have suspended my account due to his complaint?

Yeah Flippa Customer support works and act like this .

Thing They like to DO,

Closing the ticket without reply,

Deleting The ticket without reply if its some thing against them .

Delaying the reply ....

Even if we tell them i got scammed by this user . they will tell like we can't help in this issue as this is not bla bla bla...

if the owner of this post is 1kawasaki and he didn't pay and you refunded it then whats the problem for him ?

he say 1kawasaki didnt pay but im not sure abt that

even i have fallen like 1kawasaki  that day i lost 15k at flippa when i opended support at flippa regarding this / what they said was very cool

We can't help in this issue as this is between the seller and buyer we don't involve in that . :)

So guys its not a safe place to buy / sell

Even if you use escrow , from the seller point of view

If the buyer escrows the funds and you transfer the domain and files , buyer can cancel it during inspection period and take away your website files , you will get back your domain only . what they do is next make a new site with the files and sell it in flippa  buch of scammers out there in flippa like this .

Same for buyer too , and if the trascation is done in two parts the same problem will occur and endup loosing 50% of money

I have bought 4 websites at flippa the first one went good the buyer was a very genuine person , but the other 3 scammed me and lost about 44.000 USD

So careful guys , i wont be using flippa until they start their own escrow service and some sort of revenue verification  of sites .

I know it will cost a lot to start an escrow service but flippa should have that . They were charging 20$ fees and lots of upgrade fees success fee , etc .. . 100+ listings a day tons of sites so u know obviously money is rolling in your hands even the buyers / sellers got scammed .

You guys simply don't care customers , Just $$$. Dare to open a scam alert section in flippa ? :p

Can FLIPPA explain the following?


1) Flippa banned me based on a complaint from "UCashcow". "UCashcow" was not even a bidder in any of my listings. How can Flippa ban based on a complaint from "UCashcow". Flippa was keeping on saying that they were waiting for response from "UCashcow". When Flippa can check themselves that he is not even a bidder, why should they wait for his response and ban my account? Is this not because of race?

2) "1kawasaki", that is Patrick Meier, won an auction listing and he has not paid. Hence I opened a dispute against "1kawasaki" and Paypal relisted it for sale as '1kawasaki' did not even respond to dispute. Flippa itself relisted the domain for sale. Then why should they give 20 credits to '1kawasaki' as consolation, when '1kawasaki' himself is claiming that he bought from me outside of Flippa. Why should they console an user who has not even responded to a dispute? Is this not because of race?

3) Why should Flippa close my support tickets as "Solved" without even responding or solving?

4) Flippa is saying here that the other user "Patrick Meier" with user name "1kawasaki" complained about me. Can Flippa prove that he purchased anything from me after Flippa itself relisted the auction which he one?

5) It is clear that Flippa is discriminating users. Otherwise why should they console a defaulting user and ban me?

In terms of the specific accusation regarding listing fee reimbursement, readers should know that there are no amounts still owing to this user (banned or otherwise). Naturally, we would have no problem with him paying his outstanding fees owing to Flippa. Be assured it would not alter their banned status.
