I have no doubt that Floral Park may do a decent job of installing carpet. If you work on that carpet while you are installing it, and move your tools all over it, you are in very little danger of ruining the carpet. Not the case with wood floors. All of the tools and cutting and sawing do a lot of damage if done on the unprotected floor.

I wanted to write a little something about this Company and Burt Leeds and I normally don't do this but I think in this case I feel I must.
My Father Pat used Floral Park Design Center to fix some carpet issues they were having in the living room and they LOVED HIM.
I just contracted out Burt Leeds and Floral Park Design Center to re-do the carpet in my entire house. I have to say that their men were Completely professional and 100% CLEAN. I am shocked at what this lady is saying and I and my Father in law had a complete different experience.
I have to also say that the carpet they installed is OUTSTANDING. I have had nothing but GREAT comments about how soft and comfortable the floor is. Actually my 2 year old loves to sleep on the floor in the living room because of how comfortable it is.
In my opinion Floral Park Design Center did an amazing job and I would continue to refer them in EVERY CASE. I think slander like this could kill a business especially in this economy and I thought it would be only the right thing to say I had a great experience. If you want to contact me further to see that I am a real person you may contact me at www.kicksol.com and Ask for Nick.
Sincerely,
Nicholas

Mr. Leeds did eventually return the money for the moldings which he did not provide. The situation is now considered resolved.

Although I am still stuck with a widely damaged floor, and, as it turns out, this particular flooring is no longer being manufactured, negotiation has resulted in Mr. Leeds refunding $2200.00 of the cost of the job to me, and has returned the unused box of flooring which his men removed from the premises. The refund may cover getting someone in to try to replace as much of the flooring as possible, until budgeting allows for the removal of all the flooring, and installation of new flooring by someone else.
