Florida A/C Service and duct Cleaning LLC -They Charged Me $450 For Nothing- Hollywood, Florida
I called Florida A/C Service & Duct Cleaning LLC., from an advertisement i got in the mail.the ad stated the use of organic products and no harsh chemicals. having pets i felt o.k. about using this company for it's services, that advertised a reasonable price of $ 55.95 and a 100% satisfaction guaranteed. when the service men arrived they quickly started with the hard sale, spouting about mold, a ultra violet light, and a special electostatic wonder filter. the advertised price of $55.95 kept going up and up. at one point it was up to $1176.00. with many absolutely no way's, and my constant insistence that i only wanted the ad price and the service it promised, the price went down as he scratched and scribbled all over the receipt. finally with a "my friend" i 'll give you a better deal" and a wink, i was told it would be $45.00 plus tax. both workers then keep me distracted to the point i was running from the outside unit to the inside unit just to make sure the work was being done. i then insisted that both men talk one at a time and stay together so i could understand the process. at this point both men seemed to cop an attitude and went about picking up their equipment sprayed some chemical into my unit, did no other work, told me wait an hour and let the air run, got into their van and left. i waited for well over an hour expecting them to come back and finish the work that was guaranteed in writing on the ad. they never returned. it was at this time i got my receipt to call the company and found that somehow during the time i signed my credit card and their departure i was charged over $450.00. it was a classic bait and switch scam. this is not a company anyone can trust. so be wary of fast talking, winking, " my friend" claiming, b.s. artist posing as professional workers or you'll be wondering where that extra 0 came from on your credit card receipt. and as far as the 100% satisfaction guarantee i'm still waiting.
