florida career college All STAFF DON Ellen Bedu Joan Howard this school is definition of rip off. im a nursing student (senior) and the DON hasnt provided us clinical site for OB rotation the professor Howard has favorite students this school is way too expensive for what we are getting in return, this is a joke! Florida Career College is a joke!
In my time being here we have changed directors of nursing (DON) 4 times
im a senior for the nursing program estimated vrad date May 2016
The new DON here currently is an ignorant arrogant racist agsinst hispanics white lady.
inpersonal'y have heard racist comments from her and also have recorded her... shes not helping anyone ahe literally wants students to fail.
There was a 10 question pharm quiz we had to get 100% otherwise we would fail leadership.
there is also something called adaptive quizing we need access codes to access it which helps us to practoce for our hesi exit exam... however we vot these codes 2 weeks prior to exam.
this is totally unfair this is a rip off dont waste your time or money
the school doesnt even prepare you for anything
i dont reccomend this school on not even my worse enemy

It is not my fault there were 3 Directors of Nursing before I arrived. I was trying to help you. I told you that you were lacking in the knowledge needed to pass the NCLEX and become an RN. You refused to listen to me. You wanted to get out of school with a minimum amount of studying. And look where it's gotten you. Months later and you still haven't passed the NCLEX. I'm guessing you lost that ER job.
You don't even know what kind of test you were taking. It was not a Pharm quiz, it was a dosage calculation test and every nursing school has one in which you must pass. That is so you don't kill patients.
You can call me all the names you like but it doesn't change the fact that you did not learn the necessary knowledge and you have failed to become an RN. You resented me because I was trying to hold you back until you learned what you needed to know to become an RN. And you went running to the Campus President and told lies about me and apparently went online and said the same lies about me being "ignorant, arrogant, and racist."
I am now the Dean at a different school of nursing and we have an excellent pass rate on the NCLEX. If you had been willing to take my help, you also would be working as a nurse right now. I do agree your med surg teacher was poor who I got rid of.
