I ordered from floridagunworks.com on 12/21/04 using their website. I paid with a credit card. I sent an e-mail asking for the status of my order on 12/27/04. I received no response. I received my credit card statement on 1/3/05 and noticed that my credit card was charged by floridagunworks.com on 12/28/04. I called Fedex because that was the shipping method I requested with my order. They had no record of a shipment from floridagunworks.com to my shipping address or to my billing address. I sent another e-mail asking for the status of my order. I received a response on 1/3/05 at 11:45 pm stating that they were "currently for the holidays" (?) and that they would answer me on 1/4/05.

I sent e-mails because there is no phone number listed for floridagunworks.com. I called several related businesses in the Miami area and the common response was that florida gun works was a ficticious "cyberspace" business and that they do not have a phone contact. There was a phone number on my credit card statement for floridagunworks.com, but when I called it, I spoke to a woman who could barely speak english and she told me I had the wrong number.

I am confident, after reading several reviews of this company, that the items they offer are NOT in stock at their location although they are advertised as though they are. Their website states that "Orders are processed in the order they are received and can take 5-10 business days to ship, depending on current order volume." As of today, it has been 14 days and my order has not been shipped. Their website also states that "If a product is on back order, you will be notified via e-mail and given the option to either be placed on backorder or cancel your order." I believe most of their items are on back order and I have yet to receive any e-mail with any options.
