Florida University, FMU rip-off! Tampa Florida
Okay folks, I went to FMU, Tampa Campus, from 1996 to 1998, I now live in Winter Haven... and I cannot continue my education because my credits WON'T TRANSFER!!! Explain this!!! Yes, I am angry. You can transfer into FMU but like a roach motel, you can't check out. And I am not a "career college student". I am a 35 year old mother of 3... my husband and I both attended FMU. My husband wanted to return to school to obtain his Masters degree but was told by all local colleges that his credits would not transfer from FMU.
As for all the "employees" of FMU who are defending FMU, I know former employees of FMU who quit because they were getting a raw deal as well. We did our research and all the research showed that FMU was an accreditted college. So much for research. And the Dept. of Education IS doing something about it... it may take awhile but FMU will get there's. For all of us angry "boo-hooers", hang in there, what goes around comes around. We entrusted FMU with our future and they ripped us off.
