Food Lovers Weight Loss System Food Lovers Diet Scam and agressive telemarketing, rude customer service, no service Encino CA
I thought to try the program and I called the given number. The person on the phone asked my cc and all info right away. I told the person EXACTLY what I wanted to purshase. She said OK but then she tryied to sell me all kinds of stuff. I told her that I was ordering only one particular item, but she kept pushing selling me upgrades. I told her no, only I wanted this particular item, but again in a different way she tried to upgrade me to more expensive program. Then that started ringing bells tome me and I said I actually changed my mind after all and I don't want to do business with them. Well, she said she could not cancel the order. I told her that I don't authorize the company to charge me and I don't want their products. She said I had to call a different number to cancel and I said that I don't want to call anybody else I wish to cancel right there.
Then in called my cc company and i reported the insident.
Next day I found sure enough I was charged in my account. I desputed the charge with my cc and I thought I am done.
But then, days later I received the box in the mail. I called the company and I said that I have not ordered anything and she said that i had to send it back with my own expense. The person on the phone was very short and rude. She told me that I should call customer service right away, and I told her that I already told the sales person I don't want the product ans since I have not received any email comfirmation I assumed that they canceled my order.
I called again, spoke to a different person and she was even more rude, telling me that if I don't pay to send it back they will charge me.
I can not believe that people can get away with business practicing like that. As far as I am concerned this is a scam, and creates un-necessary frustration.
