Foothills Furniture/Geoffrey Sauser Comfort Xpress Buyer Beware of Questionable Business Practices Fort Collins, Colorado
I purchased a bed frame and new mattresses from the owner of this business in February 2010. He delivered my mattresses in 2 weeks and kept coming up with excuses as to why my bed frame set was not in yet (there was a rock slide and the truck had to turn back, it was back ordered from the manufacturer). For three months I waited patiently for my furniture. When I gave the owner an ultimatum (deliver or return my money) he refused. I have since taken him to court, which he did not show for and I won the case in default. He has yet to refund my money. There are some VERY shadey business practices and I would not recommend making any kind of purchase for this business unless you are into throwing away your hard earned money. So much for giving back to local business owners! This business also has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau! And he's been going out of business for about a year now. Interesting.
