You're probably wondering how can Footlocker rip you off.  The hip, urban shoe store can do no wrong.  Let me tell you what happened to my family, and you may look at Footlocker differently.

The kids got 3 pair of shoes for Christmas 2013 as gifts from my sister.  The shoes were a tad bit tight so the next day 12-26-2013, I headed to Footlocker in Panorama City California to do an even exchange for a bigger size. No problem, shoes were exchanged, the bigger sizes were going to be mailed to me.

A couple days later, Footlocker called me and said they would not be able to send the shoes. They told me to go to my nearest Footlocker to do an in store exchange for the shoes.

I go in the store, and they have no shoes that we can do an even exchange with.  In fact, there were no shoes in any nearby stores that we could do an even exchange with.  Since the shoes were a gift and I had no receipt, they could only give me the lowest price for the shoes.  After they had already sold my shoes, they were telling me that the only way to do an exchange, I would be left with a balance to pay.

Why didn't they tell me this before?  I would have never given them the shoes if I had known I could not do an even exchange for them.

So here I am with none of my kids shoes.  Not the tight fitted ones they originally got for Christmas, nor the ones Footlocker lied to me and said they would provide.  Footlocker took the shoes, sold them, and gave me none in return.  I did not want a refund, I only wanted bigger sizes.

As a recap,

Footlocker said they could even exchange our shoes for bigger sizes.  They took our shoes, sold them and gave us NO shoes in return.  I called the Footlocker's District Manager Barry Herer regarding this matter and he said that I did a return.  I did not do a return, I wanted an exchange!  And they initially said that if I gave them the shoes, they would mail me the exact same ones in bigger sizes.

Footlocker has not delivered on their end of this exchange. They have not provided me with an even exchange of items.  They have not provided me with anything for that matter.

Some corporations get so large that they forget about the little people and treat them any kind of way.  Like taking their shoes for example and giving nothing in return.  Footlocker has definitely become a company that doesn't care about us as a people at all.  They don't practice good customer service.  They are all about the dollar bill.

Maybe one day i will have a bigger voice and we can all boycott Footlocker until they start treating people right.  Until then, I have Rip off Report.

In conclusion, all buyers beware of Footlocker mailing you merchandise.  They will take your money or take your exchange merchandise and NOT deliver.  When they don't deliver, no one will care.  Not even the district manager.  They know they have a bit of a monopoly, and at this point, they have no need to impress we the people or to do things the right way for we the people.
